Before & After Care
Holy Family Cathedral School has an after-school care program to accommodate working parents. Hours are from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Dismissal runs from 3:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Except in case of emergency, all students should know whether they are to go to After Care or are being picked up. Students who are not enrolled in After Care, and who are not picked up by 3:45 p.m., will go to After Care, and a $20 drop-in fee will be assessed to the family’s FACTS account. An enrollment registration form must be on file in the office by August 31st or surcharges may be imposed to cover the additional staffing required by law.
Students are logged in as they enter the After Care program starting at 3:45 p.m. each day. After Care expenses are posted to FACTS on the 1st of each month. Prices for After Care are set at the beginning of each year.
Parents/guardians are required to follow the guidelines of the After Care Program in order to allow for their students to participate in this service. The specific guidelines for student behavior and financial obligations are provided to enrolled families at the beginning of each year.
All students attending After Care MUST be potty-trained. All students are expected to follow the school’s Code of Conduct and the behavioral expectations established by aftercare personnel. The After Care Director has the primary responsibility for enacting disciplinary actions for those who are not following rules and expectations. Parents are instructed to meet with the After Care Director regarding discipline in aftercare. Appeals can be made to the Principal.
