Boulder Beat Bulletin: August 2019
We are pleased to welcome your children back to school at Holy Family Cathedral School! The summer has flown by for many of us I am sure, but a wonderful time to enjoy our faith, family and friends. With the beginning of the year, I want to update you on the status of the school. This summer has seen the welcoming of a few new staff members that I want to introduce to the community.
Mrs. Casey Barrow – 3rd/4th Grade classroom teacher
Mrs. Barrow was raised in Montana and met her husband here in Tulsa and is presently a member at Church of St. Mary. They have a son, Avery in Kindergarten here at Holy Family Cathedral School, and are expecting a new member of their family at the end of September. She has her Master’s Degree in Curriculum Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business-Marketing. She has been active in working with the Community Action Project and a non-profit organization that assists National Guardsmen and their families that she and her husband established.
Ms. Angelina Patrick – Aide for 3rd/4th Grade classroom.
Ms. Patrick will begin this position after Mrs. Young moves to her aide position in the 2nd Grade in November, after Ms. Bishop finishes her student teaching in the 2nd Grade with Mrs. Dowdell. Ms. Patrick attends the Holy Family Cathedral Parish and is a lay member of the Discalced Carmelite Order.
Ms. Kathleen Gathright – Physical Education for Ms. Bishop for the first 12 weeks of school.
Ms. Gathright is no stranger to the Cathedral School. She is the Development Director of Holy Family Cathedral and has been in that position for two years. She is a member of the Holy Family Cathedral Parish. Ms. Gathright has also taught dance for five years.
Mrs. Marion Williams – Latin Teacher for Eighth Grade
Mrs. Williams is from Germany and has taught throughout the Diocese of Tulsa at Bishop Kelley High School, All Saints Catholic School, and for the Sacred Heart Academy of the Great Books Program at the Chancery. She is presently teaching Latin and German at the University of Tulsa. She is a member of St. Anne’s Parish in Broken Arrow.
Ms. Cierra Campbell – Art Instructor
Ms. Christina Frost has decided to pursue her Master’s degree as well as start her own business. Ms. Cierra Campbell from Escondido, California has been hired to be the art instructor for the school year beginning September 2. Ms. Frost has been gracious enough to stay in a capacity as Art Instructor for two weeks as Ms. Campbell packs her things and moves to Oklahoma! Ms. Campbell comes to us with a Bachelor’s Degree in film animation from John Paul the Great Catholic University and has been an art instructor in a Catholic School, is a professional illustrator and is an art instructor at Drawn2Art in Escondido, teaching ages 4 years old to adult.
Please take the time Wednesday, August 14, from 5:30-6:30 PM, to come to school to meet the teachers: drop off your Kleenex, antibacterial wipes, and paper towels; and have a cookie and something to drink.

Click here to request to join! This group is private and we only approve people that are listed as a family or emergency pickup contact in your child’s profile on RenWeb to maintain privacy and security.
The 2019-2020 Handbook is linked here. If you have not done so already, please read the handbook as a family and sign and return the acknowledgment form to school. You can also take the handbook quiz by August 16 to earn 30 minutes of Stewardship time.
